AlunaGeorge's "You Know You Like It" gets a Chinese whispered metamorphosis from Lxury [Premiere]
London-based producer Lxury's added a daydreamy twist to arguably AlunaGeorge's most recognisable bangers, "You Know You Like It".
The single was originally released upon the dance-pop twosome's entry into our lives back in 2012, and then reissued in 2013 as they dropped debut record Body Music. DJ Snake then remixed the tune, bringing it to further ears.
It's an enduring track, made clear by the fact that it's breaaching new heights, three years on from its initial release - it's currently one of the most talked about tracks Stateside, and was downloaded 75,000 time last week alone.
Now, as the DJ Snake remix reaches its zenith, Lxury has given it a new edit - a remix of a remix. It's not lost its core addictability, and the main refrain of "You know you like it but it drives you insane..." is crystal clear, but it is a very different beast now. A Chinese whispered metamorphosis into hypnotic trance world.
