Aluna links with Prettyboy D-O and Kooldrink on new song "Nowhere To Hide"
Aluna has unveiled new single "Nowhere To Hide", which sees her unite with Prettyboy D-O and Kooldrink.
"Nowhere To Hide" is Aluna's first release since teaming up with Jayda G on "Mine O’ Mine" in April, and features contributions from Nigeria's Prettyboy D-O and South Africa's Kooldrink.
"Kooldrink's sense of melody is exceptional and deeply emotional which is what I live for -- I sent Kooldrink a track I’d written with Nigerian artists Prettyboy D-O (known for pioneering the current Alté wave) and Higo in London last year," Aluna explained. "What’s beautiful about this song is that it brings together four people from across the world that are pushing boundaries, and pays homage to the Amapiano sound in South Africa."
Aluna's debut solo album Renaissance arrived in 2020.
