alt-J has collaborated with Signature Brew to create their own IPA, Absolutely No Worries.
alt-J has announced a new collaboration that you can quite literally get drunk on.
East London's Signature Brew helped alt-J to create their own IPA beer called Absolutely No Worries.
Gus Unger-Hamilton of alt-J expained, “Something has been bubbling away between us and Signature Brew for the last few months, and today we are excited to announce our (very) drinkable collaboration: Absolutely No Worries, a brut IPA inspired both by our cocktail of choice and our very choice sound engineer. Brewed with citra hops, coriander seeds and juniper berries, this refreshing ale is reminiscent of that very alt-J drink, the gin and tonic. And adorning the can is Lance, our front of house engineer and friend since 2012, a man who has been with us through thick and thin and who isn't afraid of the occasional IPA. We love him, we love this beer and we can't wait for our grown-up fans to try it."
The name comes from their mantra which has carried them through to become one of Britain's biggest indie bands, and arrives as a Brut IPA (drier than a standard IPA) at 6.5% ABV.
alt-J are currently building up to release their REDUXER album, which arrives on28 September and sees all tracks from RELAXER reimagined by hip-hop artists and renowned producers. Pusha-T, Danny Brown, Twin Shadow, GoldLink, Rejjie Snow and more will feature on the album.
