Alt-J, Jamie XX, The Maccabees & more among Music Producers Guild Awards shortlist
This year’s shortlist for the Music Producers Guild awards has been unveiled.
Among the nominations are Damon Albarn for ‘UK Producer Of The Year’, Jack White for ’International Producer Of The Year’ and Adele for ‘ Live Production Of The Year’.
Alt-J (pictured above at their Mercury win), Ed Sheeran and Florence and The Machine are set to fight it out for ‘UK Album Of The Year’, while The Maccabees are up for ‘Single Song Release Of The Year’.
Elsewhere, Jamie xx, Matthew Herbert and UNKLE all feature in the ‘Remixer Of The Year’ category.
The Beatles producer Sir George Martin CBE will also be awarded with the ‘Outstanding Contribution To UK Music’ award.
