Allie X announces plans for first full-length Collxtion II
Allie X maps out 10-track LP to be released in June following her Unsolved era during which she shared a selection of demos and teaser singles.
Toronto-born, LA-based singer/songwriter Alexandra Hughes, aka Allie X is set to release the follow up to her critically acclaimed debut EP Collxtion I this summer. Collxtion II will feature ten tracks including the previously released "That's So Us" and "Old Habits Die Hard".
Over the course of 2016 X has been encouraging fans, through her Unsolved releases, to help her decide which songs would make up the record's ten-track length. The demos, which have mostly come in piano ballad form, are still available to stream, however only one makes the cut onto Collxtion II.
The reworked version of "Casanova", which you can get now with your pre-order, is a house-inspired dark-pop track reminiscent of the uptempo single "All The Rage" (not on the record). New tracks include "Paper Heart" which you can preview if you give 1-800-CLX2-M0B a call.
