Alice Glass says she's being "gutted" over Crystal Castles royalties and confirms solo album
In a series of tweets Alice Glass has revealed that she's being "gutted" over Crystal Castles royalties, as well as confirming that her solo album is "coming soon".
Alice Glass first went public about the abuse she experienced from former bandmate Ethan Kath in 2017, which resulted in Kath (real name Claudio Palmieri) filing a defamation lawsuit, and denying Glass' claims.
In a series of tweets posted yesterday (14 October), Glass shut down rumours that she receives all Crystal Castles royalties by writing, "apparently there’s some rumor being spread that I receive all the royalties from Crystal Castles music. I DONT. in fact, I’m being gutted. STREAM ALICE GLASS."

Glass wrote in a second tweet that she "had to leave Crystal Castles for my own safety", and urged fans to "spread the word about my music." She also told fans to not endorse Crystal Castles, "even though it was my life’s work, I DO NOT endorse crystal castles and neither should you. STREAM ALICE GLASS."
please spread the word about my music. why I had to leave Crystal Castles for my own safety. and why it is crucial to support ethical artists and brands in these difficult times
