Aidan Moffat hospitalised after health scare
Scottish musician and former Arab Strap man, Aidan Moffat has revealed he suffered a health scare over the weekend.
Taking to Twitter and his personal blog, Moffat says he was taken to hospital after he suffered chest pains, dizziness and breathlessness.
After a series of tests, Moffat says however that ”everything seems fine” and that the problem “might be a virus”.
“I still feel shit and I’ve no idea why, but I’ve come home proud to live in a country that spends its tax revenue on the health needs of the taxpayer, whenever they might need it, regardless of how much money the patient has in the bank.”
He continues: “The NHS isn’t perfect, of course – I’m still waiting on another, much less urgent appointment that I was promised in May – but today has reminded me of what a brilliant thing we have.”
“The one downside is that, having seen me plugged into an electrocardiography machine in our own front room – regardless of the final diagnosis – my girlfriend says we won’t be buying any more crisps. ”
