aespa's "Next Level" is Spotify's best K-pop song of 2021
Spotify has shared its end of year song lists, which features aespa's "Next Level" as the best K-pop song of 2021.
"Next Level" was released by aespa in May, and topped this year's best K-pop song of 2021 Spotify list, beating ITZY's "In the morning", TWICE's "Alcohol-Free", BTS' "Butter", Rosé's "On The Ground" and more.

Spotify's thread also featured lists for the 10 best African songs of the year - topped by LADIPOE's "Feeling" with Buju - the 10 best R&B songs - with Silk Sonic's debut "Leave The Door Open" in the top spot - and lists for the best rock, indie and electronic songs of the year on the streaming platform.
