Adidas Originals closes doors to EQT Creator Studio with Charli XCX, Mura Masa and Stefflon Don
Tomorrow night sees adidas Originals host the final live show at the pop-up EQT Creator Studio, with Charli XCX, Mura Masa and Stefflon Don all taking to the stage. The studio launched last weekend with performances from Jamie xx and Giggs and has remained open to the public for a series of curated events designed to celebrate essentialism.
Stefflon Don will look to cement her status as one of the brightest stars in UK hip-hop and grime with her performance, while Mura Masa will mark an incredible few months that have seen the release of his much-hyped debut album. Charli XCX will close the night with an appearance that will no doubt leave her fans in anticipation of her upcoming third album.
Just prior to the show, on Thursday afternoon director of SHOWstudio and celebrated fashion image maker Nick Knight will shine a light on what it takes to sit among the world's most influential and visionary photographers in a special session titled ‘Creating from Zero’. He will be followed on Friday afternoon by legendary designer Peter Saville, who will also pass through the Creator Studio to discuss his thoughts on ‘Where Ideas Originate’, drawing from his career of groundbreaking work that spans across five decades
Staying true to the ethos of the original 90’s EQT product range – stripping back to everything that is essential, nothing that is not – the full events program has explored the essentials of design and creativity that apply to the cross sections of style, music, art and sneakers.
Fans will be able to get tickets to all events at the Creator Studio via ticketing app Dice and online at www.dice.fm/adidasoriginals. The EQT Creator Studio is open to the public at: Victoria House, Southampton Row, London. WC1B 4DA
