Abbey Road share details of 90th anniversary celebrations in November
Abbey Road has announced details of its 90th anniversary celebrations taking place in November.
Following August's Abbey Road: Open House event that allowed visitors to explore the iconic recording rooms used by The Beatles, Adele, Frank Ocean, Oasis and more, Abbey Road has shared details of its new Abbey Road Amplify event, which will take place on 11 and 12 November.
The two-day event will feature a variety of masterclasses, interactive sessions, workshops, Q&As and live performances, and as well as being livestreamed on the site, participants can attend for free by entering a ballot.
Abbey Road Amplify will include a music production masterclass takeover by Mix With The Masters, a How To Get Heard And Signed workshop by Island Records, discussions with The Ivors Academy, Spotify’s Bryan Johnson, as well as speakers including Nile Rodgers, Maverick Sabre, Olivia Dean, GRACEY, Donae’o, Fiona Bevan, Paul Epworth, Tiffany Calver, Steve Albini, Tony Visconti and more.
From 8 November, Abbey Road Amplify will also host a series of broadcasts and live events, including Tim Burgess' Twitter Listening Party, Edith Bowman’s Soundtracking podcast and more.
