A$AP Rocky previews new music in new Klarna advert starring Skepta
Yesterday (8 June) Klarna kicked off its new partnership with A$AP Rocky by sharing a new advert featuring new music from the rapper, and a brief appearance from Skepta.
The financial service company has teamed up with A$AP Rocky for its latest campaign, and a new advert was released yesterday (8 June) that sees A$AP Rocky encouraging people to spruce up their wardrobes as the world steps out of lockdown.
In the 45-second advert, a 15-second clip of new music from the rapper is teased, likely from his upcoming album All Smiles, which he confirmed last month in a cover story for GQ.
A$AP Rocky's new Klarna ad also features an appearance from Skepta. The two last collaborated on A$AP Rocky's huge TESTING single "Praise The Lord (Da Shine)" in 2018, but are due to reunite on the upcoming Fast & Furious 9 film soundtrack on a track titled "Lane Switcha", also featuring Pop Smoke, Juicy J and Project Pat.
When speaking about his All Smiles album last month, A$AP Rocky revealed he's been working with controversial collaborator Morrissey, who's been "writing, producing, and contributing vocals" to the album. A$AP Rocky said, "Anything you need him to do, he show up and do."
He also hinted that his partner Rihanna is involved with the record, and although he didn't reveal to what extent, he did say that she has "absolutely" influenced his new material.
