A$AP Rocky has been found guilty of assault in Sweden
A$AP Rocky has been found guilty of assault after an altercation in Stockholm last month.
Earlier this month, A$AP Rocky was allowed to travel back to the US after being detained in a Swedish jail for a month.
The final verdict has found A$AP Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers, guilty of assault on Mustafa Jafari in Sweden.
Mayers pleaded not guilty at the trial last month, and claimed he had acted in self-defense.
Although the rapper has been found guilty, Pitchfork reports that A$AP Rocky won't receive any extra jail time, and will just pay the plaintiff damages.
Two of A$AP Rocky's associates, who were also charged with assault, were also found guilty.
While the rapper was detained in Sweden, Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian West helped raise awareness for his case to US President Donald Trump.
