A$AP Rocky being sued by injured fan
An incident that took place at an A$AP Rocky show in Chicago during 2012 has led to the rapper being sued for alleged negligence.
Tia Butts, 21, sustained injuries at the House of Blues concert after a performer jumped from the stage and landed on top of her. She is now seeking damages of $50,000.
The accuser doesn’t doesn’t, however, recall which artist it was who inflicted the damage and so has filed a legal case against both Rocky and Been Trill (who opened the show), as well as the venue, RSV Gallery, LLC, Live Nation Worldwide and Ticketmaster Entertainment.
The suit says that the defendants “neglected to maintain a safe environment for the patrons” at the concert.
A$AP Rocky is yet to issue a statement on the matter.
