A Winged Victory for the Sullen share snippet of new track "Our Lord Debussy" on Spotify playlist
A Winged Victory for the Sullen have updated their Spotify playlist, A Playlist For The Sullen, with a snippet of new track "Our Lord Debussy" from their forthcoming album The Undivided Five.
Having released their two lead singles "The Rhythm Of A Dividing Pair" and "The Haunted Victorian Pencil" last month, A Winged Victory for the Sullen have decided to tease their upcoming record through a Spotify playlist.
A Playlist For The Sullen has today been updated with a snippet of "Our Lord Debussy", as well as three 20-second clips of commentary on the new album.
The duo says of "Our Lord Debussy", "It’s about going into the DNA of music and taking different strands."
A Winged Victory for the Sullen's new album is their fifth release, after their debut album, two scores, and an EP.
The Undivided Five's title is inspired by the art of Hilma af Klint. A Winged Victory for the Sullen recorded the album in their studios in Berlin and Brussels, as well as four other locations: Budapest’s Magyar Rádió Studio 22, Brussels’ Eglise Du Beguinage, Ben Frost’s Reykjavik studio, and a remote woodland studio in northern Italy
