A Winged Victory for the Sullen announce new LP with lead song "Desires Are Already Memories"
A Winged Victory for the Sullen are back with news of their forthcoming soundtrack LP Invisible Cities, and have released "Desires Are Already Memories" as the lead single.
"Desires Are Already Memories" is the first taster of the new album from A Winged Victory for the Sullen, aka Stars of the Lid founder Adam Wiltzie and LA-based composer Dustin O'Halloran.
The track will appear on the collaborative duo's new album Invisible Cities, which is actually the soundtrack for a critically-acclaimed theatre production of the same name that's directed by Leo Warner and produced by Manchester International Festival, Rambert, 59 Productions and Karl Sydow. The theatre production premiered at Manchester International Festival in July 2019.
Invisible Cities will be the duo's first soundtrack since 2017's score for God's Own Country, and lands after their 2019 LP The Undivided Five.
