A guide to Field Day’s official pre-parties and after-parties
Wish it were Saturday already so you could be frolicking in Victoria Park with the rest of London listening to some of the finest and most exciting musicians around? You’re not alone, Eat Your Own Ears, the guys behind Field Day Festival, can’t wait either so they have lined up a pre-party for this evening at their new hub in Dalston. Although, clearly not satisfied with just that and an entire day of music tomorrow, they have lined up some after-parties for Saturday and Sunday as well.
So this evening (5 August) you can head to The Shacklewell Arms venue from 8pm to hear the likes of Creep and 2:54 over a shiny new PA system for free.
Then Saturday (6 August) brings with it performances from Ariel Pink, with DJ sets from Double Denim, Vampire Weekend’s Baio, Chimes, Tortoise, The Sea and Cake and Jacques Lu Cont. You can buy tickets here.
Then Sunday, after The Apple Cart, Ducktails, Spectrals and Sexbeat will be taking to the stage to round off the weekend perfectly. You can buy tickets here.
