A. G. Cook announces 7G listening party, Charli XCX and SOPHIE confirmed for afterparty
A. G. Cook has announced a listening party for his 49-track LP 7G, as well as confirming Charli XCX, SOPHIE and more for the afterparty.
Last month, PC Music founder A. G. Cook announced 7G, a 49-track album split across seven discs that represent different instruments: Drums, Guitar, Supersaw, Piano, Nord, Spoken Word and Extreme Vocals.
The album will feature a few covers, including Blur's "Beetlebum", Taylor Swift's "The Best Day", Charli XCX's "Official", The Strokes' "The End Has No End", Smashing Pumpkins' "Today", Sia's "Chandelier", and more, and will also include collaborations with Caroline Polachek, Tommy Cash, Hannah Diamond, Cecile Believe and Alaska Reid.
Last night (9 August), A. G. Cook announced a listening party for his new album, which takes place tomorrow (11 August) on Zoom from 9pm BST.
The listening party will be followed by an afterparty featuring Charli XCX, SOPHIE, Flume, Hannah Diamond, Balming Tiger, Namasenda and DJ Warlord.

7G will be A. G. Cook's first release since June's AIRHORN EP that he released as DJ LIFELINE.
