Feist, Sharon Van Etten, Sleater-Kinney, Mitski, and more stream new songs for charity compilation
The 7-Inches For Planned Parenthood compilation is out now, and you can stream the whole thing in its entirety.
Sleater-Kinney, Mitski, The National's Bryce Dessner, Feist, Sharon Van Etten, Foo Fighters, Laurie Anderson, Bon Iver, Elliott Smith, Nico Muhly, St. Vincent, John Legend, Chvrches, and more all contribute to the comp, with unreleased songs, live takes, and covers all in the mix. Comedians such as Sarah Silverman and Margaret Cho have also offered material.
The list of names assembled for the compilation is seriously good - unreal, even. Not many things could get this many top, top artists on the same page... perhaps that should give some idea how important it is to those that can act upon it.
