50 Cent facing domestic abuse charges

Former Eminem protege and Kanye West rivalry casualty, Queens rapper 50 Cent has reportedly been charged with domestic abuse offences against his ex-girlfriend.

The Los Angeles Times report that Fiddy (real name Curtis Jackson) could be facing up to five years jail time and a $46,000 fine following an incident involving his ex-partner, who is also the mother of his child.

Details of the case reportedly include five charges: one count of domestic violence and four of vandalism against the victim’s property. The incident is said to have happened last month.

50 Cent is expected to release his next LP, Street King Immortal, later this year.
