33⅓ announce new books, including Daniel Johnston, Blondie, The Jesus and Mary Chain & more
Cult music book series 33⅓ have announced a list of their upcoming editions.
The series, which sees each book featuring an author discussing a different seminal LP, will publish books on The Jesus and Mary Chain’s Psychocandy, Daniel Johnston’s Hi, How Are You, Sleater-Kinney’s Dig Me Out, The Grateful Dead’s Workingman’s Dead, Blondie’s Parallel Lines, Miles Davis’ Bitches Brew and even New Kids on the Block’s Hangin’ Tough. Pitchfork‘s Jenn Pelly will write a critique of The Raincoats’ self-titled album, expected in 2016.
