2 Chainz premieres trailer video for second album

The ubiquitous 2 Chainz has taken a break from being robbed and denying being robbed to drop a promotional teaser for his forthcoming album, B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time.

Sadly nothing to do with nautical transport, B.O.A.T.S. is set for a 10 September release and will be the acronymic sequel to last year’s Based on a T.R.U. Story, though quite what the letters in that title stand for, we cannot say.

In the POV-style video, set to Jimi Hendrix’s “Purple Haze,” the viewer takes the role of 2 Chainz himself: walking up steps, pointing at things, running baths, taking pictures of lobsters with his phone, and observing some rather saucy goings-on in a strip club. Such is the life of a rapper.
