100 gecs and Charli XCX confirm their new albums will be out in early 2022
100 gecs and Charli XCX have both said their new albums will be arriving in early 2022.
Last month 100 gecs teased fans by saying they've got a new album "coming soon". They included "10000 gecs" in the post, leading fans to think that'll be the title of their follow-up to 2019's 1000 gecs.
Charli XCX has also been teasing a new album to follow last year's quarantine album how i'm feeling now, and released a new banger last month titled "Good Ones".
On Twitter last night (7 October), 100 gecs wrote that their new album is "coming early 2022". Charli XCX reposted the tweet, and added of her own, "Same. Ish."

In a recent interview with InStyle, Charli XCX said of her new record, which is apparently influenced by the '80s, "It's kind of all about sex and sexuality. It can make people dance and cry at the same time. It's a vibe."
100 gecs haven't released new music since last year's "sympathy 4 the grinch" track, aside from their January reimagining of Linkin Park's "One Step Closer".
