Kula Shaker share title track from their forthcoming album, NATURAL MAGICK
English psych-rock band Kula Shaker have shared the title track to their forthcoming seventh album, NATURAL MAGICK, which is the first with their original lineup in almost three decades.
"NATURAL MAGICK" follows on from previous singles, "WAVES" and the recently released "INDIAN RECORD PLAYER".
“It was actually very similar to the way we recorded K, back when we only had half an hour to blow people away” says Crispian Mills of the band’s approach to the sound of the album, “We wrote and tested all the songs on the road so they’re are all quite tough and tight in arrangement. If you can take an audience on a fantastical ride in a few short minutes, there’s a thrill and excitement in that.”
In a development Kula Shaker have long dreamed about, NATURAL MAGICK sees the return of Hammond organ player Jay Darlington, after a decade with Oasis and various Gallaghers, completing the band’s classic line-up of Crispian Mills on guitar and vocals, Alonza Bevan on bass and vocals, and Paul Winter-Hart on drums.
Kula Shaker's seventh studio album, Natural Magick, is set for release on 26 January via Strange Folk Records via Absolute.
