Krept & Konan share new freestyle, "Last Night In Kingston"
Krept & Konan have released the freestyle, "Last Night In Kingston", as the second teaser from their forthcoming album Young Kingz II.
Continuing their long-standing tradition of releasing solo freestyles, this track follows Krept’s recent Daily Duppy "New Snap City” featuring Chip. "Last Night In Kingston" serves as the sequel to Konan’s 2016 freestyle "Last Night In LA."
Leaning into Konan’s roots the freestyle is accompanied by an official music video filmed between Kingston Jamacia and Thornton Heath, South London.
"I’ve been doing these kind of freestyles since I was a kid," Konan says. "Doing freestyles with choirs has become my ring entrance over the years, when I go away, I come back and this is my signature, my stamp, to remind everyone who the best is!”
Young Kingz 2 marks Krept & Konan’s first album since Revenge Is Sweet, a project which saw them become the first British rap act to headline the O2 London. It also follows the duo’s 2017 release of 7 DAYS and7 NIGHTS,
Young Kingz 2 is set for release via their independent label, Play Dirty on 7 February 2025.
