Kitty Fitz announces forthcoming EP, The Man in Me
London-based artist Kitty Fitz has announced her forthcoming EP, The Man in Me, alongside new single, "Life of the Party".
“At its heart it’s a song about social anxiety, which is something I’ve always wanted to write a song about” Kitty Fitz explains. “My mental health has been a really turbulent journey, and as someone who naturally comes off as very extroverted, I wanted to expose that I have always really struggled to fit in, often trying to gauge the “right” thing to say or do, make sure I’m always telling the funniest joke, loading up on anecdotes to get through the night.”
A classically trained musician and self-taught producer, Kitty takes pride in writing, recording, and producing all her own music. Her upcoming EP, The Man in Me, explores themes of heartbreak, anxiety, and renewal.
The Man in Me is out on 31 October via Sad Club Records.
