Keep Dancing Inc share their new single "GPS"
Parisian trio Keep Dancing Inc share their brand new single "GPS" today.
"GPS" is the second track to be released by the band, this year, following hot on the heels of "Radio" which marked their return to the scene after three years.
"It's a track I started writing on the piano and it stayed on my computer for ages as a house music demo,” explains KDI frontman Louis. “It took me quite a while to find the right vocal line and lyrics but the wait was worthwhile. The main influence of GPS is the 2-step garage song "Let the Beat Hit ‘Em" by Tru Faith, that’s unfairly unknown, though often sampled. We mixed its syncopated drums with the synthpop song I wrote on the piano and we got GPS. Joseph brought the cherry on the cake by adding drum breaks samples that perfectly punctuate the song”.
Both singles mark the start of the next chapter of the band following the 2020 debut album, Embrace.
"GPS" is out now V2 Records.
