Katy J Pearson unveils new single, "Sky"
Katy J Pearson has shared "Sky" as the latest track from her forthcoming third album, Someday, Now.
“It really feels like me saying to myself look how far I’ve come, I deserve to be here” reflects Katy J Pearson. “I’ve always been shy of taking up space. Now I’m like hang on, this is my third record! I’m still doing this, I got to work with an incredible producer, and a hand-picked band of the most fantastic musicians, who all wanted to make this with me — and I’ve come out with something that I think is my best work so far.”
The track follows "Those Goodbyes", and her cover of "Dreamer", which features on the soundtrack for the Amazon Prime TV show My Lady Jane which was released last week.
The forthcoming album, Someday Now, follows 2020’s Return and 2022’s Sound of the Morning.
Katy J Pearson has also recently announced details of an extensive UK/EU tour later in the year, with shows in Margate, Brighton, Bristol, Manchester, Leeds, and more, with a London headline at KOKO scheduled for 2025.
Someday, Now is out on Friday 20 September via Heavenly Recordings, and is available to pre-order now. Tickets for the tour are on sale now.
