Kathy Burke shuts down requests for Kevin and Perry revival in light of Oasis reunion tour
Actress and comedian Kathy Burke, one half of the iconic duo Kevin and Perry, has responded to call outs for her to revive the skit.
In light of Oasis announcing their reunion, the infamous Kevin and Perry sketch of Perry returning from Manchester as a fully-fledged Oasis stan, has been doing the rounds. Earlier in the week, she reflected on the sketch resurfacing. Responding to someone who said that it was instrumental in their youth, she responded: "It was also instrumental in me getting a mortgage!"
Very nice to see this doing the rounds again. When I was a little kid I used to go to Manchester and come back with the accent. Harry and Paul thought this was very funny so wrote the sketch. The timing was perfect. 😎 https://t.co/LuFaggesN4

Fans are now pushing for Burke to revive the skit: "There is so much comedy material in making K and P obnoxious pensioners. You'd still eat jam sandwiches and have curtain hair cuts," one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Unfortunately, this is a reunion that definitely will not be happening, "Mainly because I’m now 60 and H is 108 but thanks ever so for the love," Burke wrote.
Lots of requests for myself and Harry to revive Kevin and Perry since Oasis announcement. It’s not gonna happen. Mainly because I’m now 60 and H is 108 but thanks ever so for the love.😁
