Kathryn Joseph, Walt Disco and The Ninth Wave make Scottish Album of the Year (SAY) Award 2022 longlist
The longlist for the 2022 Scottish Album of the Year (SAY) Award has been announced, featuring records from Kathryn Joseph, Walt Disco, The Ninth Wave and more.
20 albums have made the 2022 SAY Award longlist, which was narrowed down from a record breaking 369 eligible album submissions. The longlist features albums by Kathryn Joseph, Walt Disco, The Ninth Wave, C Duncan, Annie Booth, Declan Welsh and the Decadent West, Fergus McCreadie (who is also up for this year's Mercury Prize Award), Hamish Hawk, Rebecca Vasmant and more.
This year's winner will receive £20,000, and will be announced at a ceremony on 20 October.
