Kate Nash, Lambrini Girls, Shirley Manson, and more urge fans to take part in Music Fans Voice survey
Kate Nash is spearheading the movement and has called on all music fans to take part in the first-ever Music Fans’ Voice survey.
“The invisible thread that exists between fan and artist is the closest thing to magic I’ve ever felt. They’re often at the venue before we are, they wave and watch us leave as we drive onto the next one and they’re usually the first people to ask how they can help you. Quite obviously they are an integral part of what we do as artists and I feel very passionately about music fans being involved in what the future of my industry looks like,” Kate Nash says.
“When Kate Nash calls for a survey to help analyze how we can restructure the live music industry , we would all be well advised to listen to her . Kate is doing the work of international governments who are sleeping on the job and leaving working musicians up a creek without support and without a paddle,” Shirley Manson adds.
Working with a range of the UK’s most beloved and acclaimed musicians as well as music-loving actors, directors, authors and more, Kate Nash is calling on all music fans to take part in the first-ever Music Fans’ Voice survey which is an opportunity for gig goers, ravers and festival lovers to highlight which areas matter most to them. Findings will give fans a data driven seat at the table, helping to inform decision making in Government, the music industry and city regions around the UK on how to support all areas of live music.
The survey runs until 3 March. For more information, visit musicfansvoice.uk.
