Kate Bush pens new introduction for paperback edition of How To Be Invisible book
Kate Bush has written a new introduction for the paperback edition of her How To Be Invisible lyric book, and a small number of signed copies will feature a message from her in invisible ink.
After having a huge 2022 with the Stranger Things "Running Up That Hill" sync pushing the song to the top of the UK Singles Chart, Kate Bush has started 2023 by writing a new introduction to her 2018 book How To Be Invisible: Lyrics.
According to Dig!, Bush's book is getting a new paperback release in April, complete with a new cover design by illustrator Jim Kay, and a new introduction penned by Bush herself.
There'll also be a very small number of signed copies up for grabs, some of which will feature a message written by Bush in invisible ink, which can only be seen when put under an ultraviolet light. The signed copies will be distributed randomly, so there's no way of paying for the versions with Bush's secret message.
In December Bush shared a Christmas message to fans on her site, which saw her reflect on the new success of "Running Up That Hill", as well as some of this year's biggest events such as the Ukraine war and the Queen's death.
The new version of Kate Bush's How To Be Invisible book will be released on 6 April, and is available to pre-order now.
