Kamala Harris and Tim Walz take inspiration from Chappell Roan's merchandise
After Kamala Harris announced that Minnesota governor Tim Walz would serve as her running mate, the duo unveiled campaign merchandise which looks quite familiar.
The item in question is a camouflage cap which has their respective surnames stitched on in orange font. In support of her debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, Chappell Roan unveiled a series of merchandise which includes a very similar cap, with 'Midwest Princess' written on the front. Billboard reports that the hats sold out in less than 30 minutes, generating nearly $1 million for the campaign. Purchasing the hat counts as a donation to the Harris Victory Fund.
