Kacey Musgraves and Reese Witherspoon’s new country music competition show My Kind of Country gets first trailer
The first trailer has been revealed for My Kind of Country, a new competition series executive produced by Kacey Musgraves and Reese Witherspoon.
My Kind of Country will feature Orville Peck, Jimmie Allen and Mickey Guyton as celebrity talent scouts, and the series will see each of the celebrities take on four artists each.
In the trailer, Witherspoon says of the show, “When we got together a long time ago, we were talking about how country music should stop limiting people and start opening doors."
Musgraves adds, "It’s music brought from all over the world. The bluegrass, the folk, the gospel - there’s so many threads woven through country music”
My Kind of Country will premiere on Apple TV+ on March 24.
