Julien Baker appears to feature on a remix of Paramore's "Thick Skull"
Over the course of this week, Paramore have been dropping snippets of remixed tracks from their sixth studio album, This Is Why, on their Discord.
The catalyst of these teasers came from a video posted on Tuesday (26 September), in which Paramore alluded to a string of forthcoming releases.
Yesterday, Paramore celebrated the one year anniversary of This Is Why. This was the first date in the teaser video, which states that "Why Is This?" will follow on 2 October, and "Is This Why?" will be shared on 6 October. Other than the snippets of songs, no details have been revealed as to whether the dates are for new music or visuals.
Over the past two days, Paramore have shared four short clips of unreleased music which appear to be a remixed version of "Liar", with The xx's Romy on vocals, and a remix of "You First", with most fans in agreement that the guest vocalist is Remi Wolf. The unmistakable vocals of Rhian Teasdale can be heard upon a faster, punkier version of "C'est Comme Ça", whilst another snippet is a more subdued and acoustic, featuring Bartees Strange's interpretation of "Figure 8".

As is now to be expected, two more teasers dropped yesterday, in the form of "Thick Skull" which features Hayley Williams' longtime friend Julien Baker who played with Williams during her NPR Tiny Desk session, and featured on her debut solo album, Petals For Armor, on the track "Roses/Lotus/Violet/Iris" with her band boygenius.
The other snippet appears to feature Panda bear with a cover of "Running Out Of Time", which was the fourth single to be released from This Is Why.
