Joy Anonymous share rework of The Beach Boys' "God Only Knows"
London collective Joy Anonymous have shared a reimagined version of The Beach Boys' classic "JOY (God Only Knows)".
"JOY (God Only Knows)" is Joy Anonymous' first outing since August's "JOY (Easy To Improve)", and has been given an official release ahead of Christmas and after it received its live debut during Joy Anonymous' recent EU and UK dates supporting Fred again...
The collective say, "This song came about when we heard the original playing in a bar in LA, in the cab ride home after we started to make the track - chopping the sample up and adding our joy drums. A couple of weeks later we started road testing it in our live shows and after parties and the reaction meant we had to get it out ASAP. Feels like the perfect joy anthem to end another ridiculous year."
Joy Anonymous' "JOY (God Only Knows)" track is out now on Island Records.
