José González shares new remix EP featuring Ela Minus, Dungen and more
José González has unveiled his Visions EP, which features remixes of his Local Valley track "Visions" by Ela Minus, Dungen and more.
"Visions" is a song that originally appeared on González's first album in six years, Local Valley, which arrived in September 2021, and today (26 January) his new Visions EP has landed, featuring remixes of the track by Ela Minus, Dungen and Flanger.
González says of the Ela Minus remix, "I love how Ela Minus made the song more forward-looking and dreamy with warm electronic layers and adding her beautiful voice on it."
He adds of the Dungen remix, "As a longtime fan of Dungen I was super excited to hear what they’ve done. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a jungle version! So authentic in its sound that I got thrown back to my teenage years when I used to hang out by my friends and listen to their vinyls."
José González's Visions EP is out now on Mute.
