Jónsi, Sin Fang, Kjartan Holm and Alex Somers release new collaborative album Sounds Of Fischer. Vol.1
A new collaborative album titled Sounds Of Fischer. Vol.1 by Jónsi, Sin Fang, Kjartan Holm and Alex Somers has arrived on digital platforms after being made exclusively for the Fischersund store in Reykjavík.
Sounds Of Fischer. Vol.1 features nine songs made exclusively for Fischersund, a Reykjavík-based family-run perfumery that includes a team made up of the Sigur Rós vocalist Jónsi, Lilja, Inga Birgis, Rosa, and their partners Sin Fang and Kjartan Holm.
According to the Fischersund site, "Fischersund sells fragrance products inspired by the clean, unique nature of Iceland using herbs and oils harvested in the Icelandic wild via the most environmentally friendly solutions and materials for the modern lifestyle. Jónsi is the nose and has a passion for perfumery following a self-taught journey of learning (one of his fragrance organs is in the Reykjavik shop)."
