London-based songwriter Joni has released a brand new single, "Avalanches" alongside news of her signing to Hand In Hive and Keeled Scales.
"Avalanches is a song about the duality of love and heartbreak," says Joni. "and how you can’t really have one without the other. And despite all the pain, fear, exhilaration, risk, I'd do it all again and again and again…" 'Avalanches' was fleshed out following encouragement by Luke Sital-Singh, with whom Joni toured whilst road-testing new material.
Joni is set to perform at Hand In Hive's tenth anniversary party at The Lexington on 26 November alongside TV Priest, Wyldest and Blackaby.
"Avalanches" is out now.
