Jo Hill announces debut album, girlhood.
British singer-songwriter Jo Hill has announced her forthcoming debut album, girlhood.
“girlhood. is about wearing your vulnerability on your sleeve and being a badass bitch while doing so,” she explains, “If there’s one thing I’ve learnt in the process of making this record, it’s that the best things happen by accident. They’re often unplanned, a hiccup that leads to a much more interesting moment, journey and story. This is the album I wish my mum gave me growing up.”
For the launch of recent single, "ALL MY GIRLS ARE TOMBOYS", she hosted a gathering at 12 Round Boxing in London to a sold-out crowd. Jo collaborated with charity Bloody Good Period, raising funds for period poverty. She and her all female POW GIRL band were joined in the boxing ring with fans for an unforgettable and unique night of upliftment which included guest artists DRIIA & Kayla Grace.
