Jessica Winter announces new EP with second single "Funk This Up"
Jessica Winter has announced her upcoming EP Limerence, and has shared a new single titled "Funk This Up" as the second outing.
"Funk This Up" arrives with a Ella Margolin-directed video, and will appear on her Limerence EP with September's "Choreograph" single.
She says of the new track, "This song began as a conversation with myself… the verses being in the present and reacting to the choruses where I embody the more deranged temptress luring me into the depths of addiction and chaos."
Winter adds of her Limerence EP, which will feature a collaboration with Lynks, "Limerence was written during a time when I was trying to understand my relationship to love and my behaviours around it. Love confuses me so much and I think this EP demonstrates that."
Last month Metronomy unveiled Winter's version of "I lost my mind" from their Small World (Special Edition) album.
Tracklist:
- Choreograph
- Clutter (feat. Lynks)
- Let Me In
- Funk This Up
- The Love Song
"Funk This Up" is out now. Jessica Winter's Limerence EP will arrive via Lucky Number on 10 February 2023, and is available to pre-order now.
