Jeff Tweedy covers Woody Guthrie's "Union Maid" for When You Finish Saving the World soundtrack
Jeff Tweedy has delivered a cover of Woody Guthrie's 1940 standard "Union Maid", which will feature on the soundtrack for Jesse Eisenberg’s When You Finish Saving the World film.
Tweedy's cover was recorded for the When You Finish Saving the World soundtrack. The A24 film is directed by Jesse Eisenberg, and will star Finn Wolfhard, Julianna Moore and more.
Last month Tweedy covered Neil Young's "Helpless" for his son Sammy's birthday, and paid tribute to Christine McVie with a cover of "Little Lies".
Earlier today Wilco were announced as headliners for End of the Road Festival 2023 alongside Future Islands, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
