Japanese Breakfast debuts new song "Mega Circuit" during London show
Last night, Japanese Breakfast played a show at the Roundhouse in London and debuted a new song called “Mega Circuit.”
Last night, with support from Indigo DeSouza, at the Roundhouse in London, Japanese Breakfast – AKA Michelle Zauner – played a set which included hits such as "Be Sweet", "Everybody Wants to Love You", and "Posing in Bondage", and other hits from her album, Jubilee, which came out two years ago.
“I’ve been busy writing the next record. It won’t be out for a while… This last album has been full of so much joy, and I’m ready to go back to being a moody cunt again," Zauner said before debuting a song called "Mega Circuit".

Earlier this year, Japanese Breakfast confirmed that the film adaptation of her Crying in H Mart book will be directed by Will Sharpe (The White Lotus, Flowers).
Speaking about the book, which spent 60 weeks on The New York Times' best-sellers list, Sharpe told PEOPLE, "There were lots of things that resonated with me as somebody who is half-Japanese, half-British, spent my childhood in Tokyo. Some of the descriptions of being jet-lagged in your family's kitchen felt very familiar to me."
There is yet to be a release date for both the Crying in H Mart film adaptation, as well as Japanese Breakfast's next body of work.
