Janelle Monáe shares release date for new single "Float"
Janelle Monáe has revealed the release date for her upcoming single "Float", which she started teasing on socials last month.
At the start of the year Monáe started teasing a new song from the studio titled "Float", and last night (8 February) on socials she announced that the song is getting an official release next week, and shared another snippet of the track.

"Float" will be Monáe's first new music since 2021's "Say Her Name (Hell You Talmbout)" protest song featuring Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Chlöe x Halle, Tierra Whack, Zoë Kravitz, Brittany Howard and many more. She's yet to follow up her 2018 album Dirty Computer.
Janelle Monáe will release "Float" on 16 February.
