Jamie xx links up with Honey Dijon on new single, “Baddy On The Floor”
Jamie xx has returned with the new single, “Baddy On The Floor”, featuring GRAMMY Award-winning DJ and producer Honey Dijon.
“Baddy On The Floor” originally appeared in Jamie xx’s All Points East set in 2021 and is the first collaboration between the cross-continent based DJs and producers, who were in touch over the pandemic, and started working on the track over video calls.
This latest single arrives on the heels of Jamie xx’s appearance at Coachella, which will be followed by appearances at Glastonbury, Pitchfork Music Festival, and HARD Summer, signaling that a new era of Jamie xx is upon us. As mentioned an his interview with Jack Saunders, Jamie xx is putting the finishing touches on his new album, due out later this year.
“Baddy On The Floor” follows a long string of loose singles including 2020’s “idontknow", 2022’s “LET’S DO IT AGAIN” and “KILL DEM” plus the recent “It’s So Good".
