James Yorkston, Nina Persson and The Second Hand Orchestra deliver new song "The Harmony"
James Yorkston, Nina Persson and The Second Hand Orchestra have shared a new track titled "The Harmony", which will feature on their The Great White Sea Eagle album that's out next week.
"The Harmony" is Yorkston, Persson and The Second Hand Orchestra's first single of 2023, and will appear on The Great White Sea Eagle alongside last year's "An Upturned Crab" and "Hold Out For Love" singles.
Yorkston says of the new single, "This is a duet love song that we recorded one evening, after most of the Second Hand Orchestra had left for home. It has that beautiful woozy sound music has when everything is just working together perfectly. It's intimate, and a favourite."
The Great White Sea Eagle will follow 2021's The Wide, Wide River album, and features The Cardigans' Nina Persson as a guest vocalist for the record. The new album will also feature a song that honours Frightened Rabbit's late lead vocalist Scott Hutchison titled "A Sweetness In You".
"The Harmony" is out now. James Yorkston, Nina Persson and The Second Hand Orchestra's The Great White Sea Eagle album will be released on 13 January via Domino, and is available to pre-order now.
