Iggy Pop calls Tyler, The Creator "a genuine old-school talent with a new-school approach"

In the latest episode of Iggy Confidential – Iggy Pop's show on BBC Radio 6 Music – he shared his praise for Tyler, The Creator.
Speaking in reference to a Harmony Korine-directed Gucci advertisement that the pair starred in together alongside A$AP Rocky, Iggy Pop praised Tyler, The Creator's work ethic.
"I’ve always liked Tyler," he said. "I did a day’s work with him once, and he would do what it takes to get attention. He’s also a genuine all-around song, dance, writer, talent — a genuine old-school talent with a new-school approach."
Tyler, the Creator's latest album, CHROMAKOPIA, is out now.
