IDLES unveil the brand new single, "Gift Horse"
IDLES have shared "Gift Horse" as the latest single to be taken from their forthcoming album, TANGK.
"Gift Horse" follows recent album previews, "Dancer" and "Grace". The track is a testament to redemption, to finding something or someone that makes the worries of the world feel not just tolerable but motivating. Collectively, TANGK celebrates love, communion and all of those powerful emotions that make existence worthwhile.
Speaking of the new single, Joe Talbot says, “Look at us go! Music and movement for you and yours. Be bold and ride us like the disco donkeys we are.”
IDLES will celebrate the release of TANGK by playing three intimate out-store shows, at Pryzm in Kingston, hosted by Banquet Records on 15 February, and London's Electric Brixton, hosted by Rough Trade on 16 February, culminating with a homecoming gig at The Marble Factory in Bristol, the following day.
TANGK will be released on 16 February via Partisan Records and is available to pre-order now. For more information on their live dates, visit idlesband.com.
