
Babymorocco, jasmine.4.t, Fat Dog, Elín Hall and Kenya Grace lead Iceland Airwaves lineup
Iceland Airwaves has revealed the first wave of artists set to perform at the 2025 event, with Best Fit favourites jasmine.4.t, Babymorocco and Elín Hall leading the list of names for the November event.
Manchester poet and producer Antony Szmierek, post-punk south-London outfit DEADLETTER, experimental rising stars The Orchestra (For Now), Canadian pop-maestro ratbag, and viral sensations Kenya Grace and ian also join the lineup for the Reykjavík-based festival.
Launched in 1999 as a one-off event in an airplane hangar, Iceland Airwaves is the world’s most northerly music showcase and industry festival, situated halfway between North America and Europe. Homegrown talent for the 2025 edition includes Best Fit session stars Elín Hall and Sunna Margrét as well as electronic duo Milkywhale, composer Magnús Jóhann, and experimental noise-punk outfit Tófa.
A handful of selected performing artists will also be travelling to Austin, Texas next month, with Elín Hall, Sunna Margrét, lúpína and superserious performing at an exclusive SXSW showcase presented by Iceland Airwaves, Iceland Music, Business Iceland and Record in Iceland.
