Ian Brown's Leeds gig called a "karaoke show" after he performs with no live band
Ian Brown's sold out Leeds gig, which took place last night (25 September), has been labelled a "karaoke show" after he performed to a backing track.
Last night (25 September) Ian Brown played his first live show since 2018 at Leeds' O2 Academy, and attendees were left disappointed after he played the entire show with no live band.
One fan wrote on Twitter, "Gutted to see Ian Brown turn up to his £40 a ticket, sold out gig at Leeds tonight WITH NO BAND. I’m a life long fan but it was bad. Ian Brown does karaoke and butchers his own tunes. Most were too pissed to care but I had to get out after this one. "Longsight M13" was a highlight."

One person wrote that it's the "funniest gig i've ever been to," and another added, "Lol @ Ian Brown's karaoke show. What a mad piece of self-destruction that has been."
