Hyd announces debut album with SOPHIE and EASYFUN-produced single "So Clear"
Hyd has announced their debut album CLEARING, and has released new single "So Clear" produced by SOPHIE and EASYFUN to accompany the news.
"So Clear" is Hyd's first outing since July's Caroline Polacheck-produced song "Afar", and features production from the late SOPHIE and EASYFUN, who also co-wrote the track.
Hyd says of the song, "The feeling of rejection opened up my own questions about choosing Earth, choosing to make something new here, to be rooted when turbulent winds bend the stems. Transmuting a feeling of loss into something fortifying - ripples in the water that become still. "So Clear" emerges from a place of total loss, full collision, and the freedom that comes through surrender."
CLEARING will feature contributions from A. G. Cook, Jónsi and Ö, and will follow Hyd's 2021 self-titled debut EP.
